Missouri is a redneck, rural state for the most part, same as Iowa, where I live. I'm never surprised when I see misogynist, patriarchal assholes like this pop up supporting policies like this. And yes, I did read his backstory about the 12 yo girl who married another equally young and unqualified boy who knocked her up, and I still say, that even marriages between two young children should not be allowed, if for no other reason than to protect their innocent offspring from the horrendous parenting that would almost always occur with two children trying to raise another child...

I think that adult societies should act together to protect their children and give them sufficient education so that later they can make decisions in their own best interest.
