Peter O'Toole is Sherlock Holmes. Apparently there's an entire series of them. The animation is sad but O'Toole certainly has the Holmes snobbishness down.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I read all the stories and my all time favorite Holmes is the one by Jeremy Brett. I liked Basil Rathbone the best until I saw Brett's interpretation.
Benedict Cumberbatch is fun and I must watch more of his performance! I enjoyed Robert Downey but Brett really does seem to capture Doyle's idea of who Holmes is. IMHO

@Sticks48 I was blown away the first time I saw him as Holmes!
@silverotter11 Me too. There have been some good ones, but l thought he embodied that character better than anyone.
