Not sure if you saw the news today, but Mike Johnson said something that was really ridiculous.

As reported by Huff Po:

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said Tuesday that Republicans are blurring faces in security footage from inside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to protect rioters from prosecution.

“We have to blur some of the faces of persons who participated in the events of that day because we don’t want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ,” Johnson said at a press conference.

Does Mike Johnson realize what he just said? I don’t think so.

Let’s start with the fact Mike Johnson and his friends lied saying it was Antifa and the FBI attacking the Capitol. If that were the case, why would Mike Johnson want to be protecting Antifa and the FBI? Wouldn’t he want to get their pictures out to the public? Seems like he is admitting it was MAGA people at the Capitol.

Also, if you are blurring criminals who committed crimes, isn’t that a crime in itself? How do you know they are a criminal?

And why would you specifically say you are trying to deprive the DoJ from doing their investigation? So many questions for this pathological liar.

The whole thing is so ridiculous. Especially since it looks like the DoJ has had access to the Jan 6 footage for years.

So Mike Johnson is playing a fake hero for the Jan 6 rioters. Got it.

This is a reminder that Democrats need to be in control of the House. Not this clown who belongs in prison with the rest of the Jan 6 rioters for his role in the insurrection.
