I tell them I've been down that road before, then I read the buybull 3 times cover to cover and that made me the atheist I am today. That usually shuts them up pretty good. And it's all true, I was searching for answers and knowledge, and when you put the buybull all together, it is really harsh towards women and marginalized societies, aside from being just wholly fabricated. I don't want any part of it.

I too have read the thing several times, and can use quotes and icidents from it like a sword if needed....
Reading it would or should IMO convert anyone Away from religion of any kind! The OT gawd is a psychotic monster with serious issues and the NT, while having a somewhat nicer outlook on fellow humans, is just Such a contradictory crock o' shit.
And if you can't tell it was cobbled together from Wildly divergent bits & pieces you are maybe dead?
