Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Sadly true, he makes lots of valid points. The music of my youth was not so materialistic, but neither was the culture back then. But the music industry became way more commercialized, beginning in the 70s, and so did the culture become much more materialistic, in the 80s, with the Reagan era. So the music is merely reflecting what we have become as a society, for the worse.
