John McCain has often been vocal in his opposition to DJT and his heinous policies.This time his opposition to CIA appointee Gina Haspel over her willing to use waterboarding and other forms of torture have been callously derided by WH staffers as words that should be disregarded. ("It doesn't matter. He's dying anyway." ) Another GOP member, ret. Air Force Gen. went on Fox to accuse McCain of giving material aid to his captors b/c of torture, calling him "Songbird John". (This is not corroborated by independent accounts of McCain's captivity, and indeed he refused offers of early based on his status as the son of a Navy admiral.) I have sometimes disliked McCain's positions but I have never doubted his war record nor his personal integrity. And when you hold HIM next to DJT........
