Deconverting has already changed my life in a great way. I feel that it will continue to change my life more and more. Good changes.
Around 3 years. I don't remember the day I actually realized I was and atheist. Like Seth Andrews says, it's a death by 1000 cuts. It took a while for me to realize I no longer believed.
"Do I ever - EVER - lose my virginity?"
To which I imagine the answer will be a bitter laugh and a shake of the head.

Why is reality not just an illusion on which we became dependant as an infant? Did we learn to see beyond our habitual mind or will we never be able to hold knowledge of anything except the existence of our senses?
I mean it as one question and I would expect this future me to know that.
