I think the most likely future of the Earth will be a future without humanity.
I genuinely believe the human race will wipe itself out, quite possibly taking a vast number of other creature types with us, then the Earth will breathe a huge sigh of relief and start the evolution process again from whatever we happen to leave alive.

@Shelton Right. Every day I feel less and less connected with my fellow "human beings". Rather sad, truthfully.
Personally, I think we're heading for something between Blade Runner and Idiocracy... But a self-imposed, opted-into Matrix may also be a realistic likelihood.
Note — I didn't include The Expanse in the choices, because it's pretty much Blade Runner in space anyway.
