Do you look in the paper to see if anyone you knew had died

Its a shame... that's the first thing I look at.

Yes, I do this when I travel home

I don't live where I grew up. The paper is nothing but strangers.

When I was a kid, all my relatives did, in the banking game we had to every morning to see if any customers had passed away and freeze their accounts. Occasionally I get nostalgic and look for people from my past in the obits, it can be quite satisfying at times. ie, they're dead, I win.

No everyone I know is still alive...this good luck is not going to last forever though...☹?
