@Piratefish Try Caral in Peru, it is quite a bit older than the Egyptian pyramids.
@Surfpirate I just watched a documentary on this the other night. I have also been hearing claims of evidence of a civilization dating back to around 1,000 BC in northern Chile. I know some archaeologists and anthropologists also believe that the first humans made it to South America long before the first people were believed to have entered via the "Bering Strait" land bridge near the end of the LGP.
Makes me wonder what the Atacama, the Andes, and the Amazon forest may have long swallowed up.
