When a parent feels the urge to shout or hit.......the only assumption made by liberals, is, and true most of the time.....that those parents lack awareness.

I feel there r 2 aspects to it. Either or both cud be responsible.

  1. Lack of awareness
  2. Insufficient practice at unlearning n relearning (of unhealthy learnt instincts) despite ample awareness.

I strongly feel people shud be more supportive and judge less the second type of people, else the guilt n regret will not allow them to evolve as much.

I too feel stuck there n keep struggling to be a better mother each day. I think the intent is what shud matter.

Yeah sometimes I get frustrated and yell. I think it’s safe to say that 100% of the time it was unnecessary and I only did it because I lost my temper. It’s something I’m working on. I keep trying to remind myself how I would if I was in my sons shoes.
