Okay...Um....ummm
So I bought a bunch of halloween discounted candy and in it was a bag of oreo candy bars.
I ate a SHIT TON yesterday and today (not a good idea but they tasted so good!)
They contain hazelnut. Something I didnt realize until just now.
I am allergic to hazelnut. My allergy to hazelnut is so severe it was the first nut I was allergic to. The catalyst of my nut alletgies. The allergist specifically tested me for hazelnut as well as the rest of the nuts. I tested positive for a reaction.
So why was I able to injest like 16 hazelnut candies without a reaction?
Now that I think about it I thought my asthma was acting up but it wasn't to the point of anaphylaxis.
I'm really confused. Is it because my immunosuppression? Has it cured my allergies?
Hm
Probably not. I'm still experiencing a lot of allergy symptoms but just much more mild than when I ate hazelnut WITHOUT my 2 antihistamines and immunosuppressants

Its oreo oreo isnt supposed to have nuts its just chocolate cookies and icing why
@LadyAlyxandrea I know, but you know they can put any old crap in there. It is such a pain, I just had a student go into shock and need her epi pen and a trip to the hospital because something was contaminated. So difficult. And I love Oreos too. I can not have them in my house!
