The holidays are almost over and honestly I couldn't be more relieved. Like most chronically ill people, the holidays cost about a thousand more spoons than I am allotted. It's really a challenge getting back this time. I've been having like a month of the 'bad' days. These are the worst because they are not like the horrible pain days. These days are the ones where I just have no energy. I need to clean so bad but I can't seem to pry myself out of bed to do anything. I have serious fog and now palpitations today. I'm just tired, but not sleepy. I hate these days more than the horrible pain ones because, like, at least with the excruciating pain I have an excuse. This is just....empty.
And I'm not joking guys my apartment looks like it could be on a horders episode. I have 10 cardboard boxes on the floor that I have just kind of been shuffling to the corner over the week. It's real bad. I am grossed out by my self.
I really really hate it.
What do you guys do when you have these days where you just have zero energy or gumption
Hope you feel better soon. I am fortunate to not have to be anywhere most days so I can rest if I need to. I just get essential stuff done and don't worry about the rest.
Thanks. I managed to get some stuff done that I needed which was good and took a long nap which was not so good lol.
I still need to finish laundry and change my bedding and vacuum but I think that I'm doing better. For now at least.
I'm going to have to get on disability soon, because I'm not going to get better better, and I just cannot keep doing this shit all the time where im working 50-80 hours a week and trying to keep house and I'm physically and mentally a wreck.
I feel ya. The very thought of starting a project, such as tidying the house, is overwhelming and my brain shuts down.
This is why I need a husband who doesnt mind being a care giver
