It's been one month now since my surgery and my belly button is still infected. Worse now tonight my right bottom port started oozing pink foam. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's not a good thing.
Called the doctor and she made an appointment for first thing Monday so there's that.
I think the being thrown violently into NIGHT DAY NIGHT DAY NIGHT NIGHT DAY shift plus the 12 12 nights has really REALLY fucked me over with my healing. Welp only 3 more weeks of it and I will never be doing it again Haha cause I'll be dead Haha Haha sob

Can you speak to HR?
Also what port? (Are you part mech and I didn't know it?).
You need to see your Dr for sure.
I used to use Hydrogen peroxide on the belly button incisions to clean them out - but that might not be recommended any longer? I don't think it promotes healing? Maybe a wash with the stuff that removes staph infections from the skin? Sold OTC. (As I recall you're allergic to betadine?).
It sounds awful.

Nope not betadine that I'm aware of. I wish I was part mecha then maybe I'd be healing faster lol. With laparoscopic surgery the multiple incisions they make are called ports or portholes. It's funny when I say my porthole is leaking Haha. I've been using a clindamycin topical to try and help clear the infection but I'm wondering if maybe it's perpetuating it instead.
Well hopefully doc can help me out.
Also no I'm not going to talk to hr or anyone. I'm gonna try and get through this. Everyone else did this crap when I was out so i owe it to them to pull some extra weight this month. But i will inform them i cannot do this ever EVER again. I made a commitment though and basically I'm gonna keep at it unless i end up with sepsis lol.
@LadyAlyxandrea Oh it's some sort of internal payback for having to have surgery? I think I just looked at my brain with my eyes.
Seems knowing your circumstances they'd be a bit kinder? But no - no one is kinder these days. That's why so many people want to work for themselves.
And I don't blame them.
Gone are the companies that supported you and paid back what you put in.
Hopefully the doc has solutions for you. I'm sure they will. 
Meantime Chicken soup. (I know it's supposed to do something good for you!). Ok it tastes good if you get the good stuff.

I'll typically go to the e.r. if I start to notice jaundice lol
@LadyAlyxandrea I go if I’ve been vomiting for a week, and can no longer stop retching. They won’t do anything sooner, but always yell at me for waiting so long. ?
@CarolinaGirl60 yeah I know lol. Luckily I work in an e.r. so if I notice myself getting too bad it's not like I have a far trip lol
