Hi Bay Area! How is everyone holding up during this pandemic? I'm new to the site & was really happy to find this group. Any hikers out there? I'm in the outer East Bay & really enjoy hiking Sunol Regional Wilderness, Morgan Territory, Pleasanton Ridge & I think it's time to expand a bit further west. Any recommendations? I hike with a toddler on my back so super steep is a little harder for me these day - hopefully he'll be ready to do his own hiking soon.

I'm on the west side but have hiked in Sunol Regional Wilderness -- it's beautiful!

I haven't been hiking out there since the fires so I don't know how much is damaged. In the mean time I'm going to try more hiking in Morgan Territory, Briones, & Mt Diablo. See how our beautiful hiking areas have fared.

@Juniper Good idea to check in on your local spots and see how the fires have treated them. I should do the same as the fires were in the Woodside area of San Mateo County.

Welcome to the site. I'm not for Bay area, I assume San Francisco. I've never actually met anyone from agnostic. From my experience it's basically a social media platform. Super nice people.

Thanks! I guess I should have kept this post specific to the Bay Area - but it is my first one & it's nice to be welcomed.
