Hey everyone, I want to share one of my favorite classic books. It's The Razor's Edge by W. Somerset Maugham. It follows an author as he deals with an eccentric member of the French Aristocracy in post WWI France, where he meets a young man that served as a pilot. I don't want to add more as it would contain many spoilers, but please read this fantastic book if you have not.
There are a couple of movie adaptations - one in black and white from 1946 starring Tyrone Power, and the 1986 remake with Bill Murray(?!) in the lead - I imagine that the book is better than either. I'm not too familiar with Somerset Maugham's work, maybe I should find a copy...
I only tried watching the first of the two adaptations. I made it 20 minutes in before turning it off. Besides saying India is brown Greece, it was terrible.
