Has anyone read any Lionel Shriver ("We need to talk about Kevin" )? She writes so perceptively. Have gone on to "Big Brother", "So Much for That" and "The Female of the Species" and now in the middle of "The Post-birthday World". (Tend to go all out when I find an author I really like).
I've read "We Need to Talk About Kevin". It was a little too dark for me. I too tend to go all out when I find a author who makes me "gasp". Has anyone read Diane Chamberlin (The Secret Life of Cee-Cee Wilkes, the Midwife's Confession). Chamberlin's books will make you laugh, cry and question the know. They have captivating plots that will have you glued to your seat.
