I love that snapper! He looks so smug! I’m trying to share some of my insect and herp finds but it keeps erroring on me... hopefully soon!

Okay, are you set up in a ground blind? Of the many animals I've encountered in central Pennsylvania, I've never been able to photograph a fox or a bobcat. It's cool as hell to see them, but it's almost always just a fleeting glance.
I do have a photo of bobcat that showed nothing but very faint eyeshine.

yeah, isn't it a bit weird, @Insectra? even the cows take off when i walk past, but driving my car past their paddock they don't care
lovely and fantastic picture of the racoon.
