Hello Folks, so the election is over and Justin is still in power. Me, I can't sleep, so here I am. Thinking about my day and the news feed of the election. No biggie. So, I'll watch a old movie, and drop off to sleep at some time, on what my sister calls that magic couch, my sofa. It puts me to sleep every time.

I see the sense behind calling an election and it would have been better for Canadians if Trudeau had gained a majority government which would have freed his hands to take necessary actions to fight the pandemic. Better to hold an election now than next year when there may be far worse outbreaks and not just in Conservative strongholds like Alberta.
The Tories love to assume that they have the right to govern the country, even when they aren't in power, this election result should get them to shut up for a while as it is clear that they do not have a mandate from most Canadians.
