In 1998 I went to England for a month in the Henley area. I went to several clubs. Knowing I was Canadian each would play a Stan Rogers song to me.
@rogerbenham For folk music aficionados I’m sure he was pretty well known around the world…but for the rest of us maybe not as well known, for instance in the way that Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell or Gordon Lightfoot were known by everyone.
