Of course there are those who would say that the CBC is the ministry of propaganda and of course it would be a socialist. But when you consider what he did for our country there is no other choice.

@DeeTee I was suggesting that certain adherents to right wing beliefs would say that the CBC agenda is formulated by Karl Marx's dialectical progeny. I agree that the CBC could not influence this process.
Funny how the Greatest Canadian was a socialist, its like maybe we have since lost our way.

@Holiday probably the wrong forum for this comment but its almost Jesus like in that if he didn't die while doing it, it would most likely be a foot note in history.
Terry Fox was a great Canadian, no doubt and his legacy seems to be lasting and no doubt his efforts did result in the saving of lives but Tommy Douglas' contribution to Canadian society is unparalleled.
@Holiday Thanks- my main fur buddy enjoying a ride on the ferry last summer! he really likes meeting visitors from the cruise ships that stop here each summer too - pretty friendly guy
