If you have good any outstanding debt with a Chase card, you don't have to pay. In Mar of 2018 they decided they wanted out of the Canadian market. You couldn't make purchases with them, but you still had to pay. They just announced don't worry about it. It was on the radio this morning, and I saw it on TV too. Do any of you have large debt on one of these cards? You can tell me how much if you want. If so are you going to take advantage of not paying? Forgiving debt of this size just shows how much they make.
have no card and did not hear about it but happy to hear that
I have not had a card since I was 19. Bad idea. Intrest was like 21%. Unless you can pay it in full when due, don't use it. Friend of mine has a Cabelas card (sporting goods store). He used it to pay for seed, then paid it off with his operating note. Got lots of free crap!
I pay my credit cards off in full each month no interest, way i like it
@Wangobango3 Debit card.
@RoyMillar Yup it is a good way to go... although when I had a balance on both my credit cards one month (the stupid banks did not provide updates to creditors) my credit score jumped up. WTF is that about? When I have zero balances my credit score doesn't budge but as soon as I carry a balance it increases?? pfft
@demfeministgal , yes it is weird like that they love to see balances and steady apyments to increase your credit score,,no activty ,does nothing but if you do pay it off in full each month they do keep raising your credit limit with out asking you,,which is ok for those who use there credit wisely
