Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I voted NDP today and in large part it was because of Singh, he represents real Canadian values, something we don't see much of from the corporate sellout parties. I have never voted NDP before this, being a Lefty Libertarian makes it difficult to choose a candidate but the Greens who usually get my vote just weren't up to snuff.

Why do you assume he is a separatist? And why mention his punjabi ethnicity and not the others'? Sounds like a racist thing to say from a canadian bible belter... smh

I neither believe nor disbelieve. The Government of India, however, believes he is or sympathetic with Sikh separatists. That is why he has been denied a visitor's visa to that country. My comments were to underline in a lighthearted way the sorry crop of sous-doués that we have this year. Finally, please be careful with your semantics: ethnicity and race are not the same. I cannot be racist if I make no reference to race.
Hard choice today. No one really seems to discuss what really needs to be done. Everyone wants a hand out.
