Have any one of you who have engaged in a conversation about Health care, Have you asked them what they know about our health care system? Would be interesting to see what there answers were
They seem to believe that we are slightly above 3rd world standards and that it takes forever to get any sort of treatment, many people are presumed to have suffered or died because of wait times. Those who have actually experienced our health care system because they had to use it when they were visiting Canada are of a different mindset all together.
Yes I haved heard there is a lot of misconceptions and that it is free but we do pay for our health in a diferent way thru the diferent levels of governments and we also pay some meds to
No kidding eh? they know nothing about what we ENJOY in Canada..
For many the world seems to end at the US border and for a few it ends at the state line.
@Surfpirate Yes that is so true.. I lived in NYState 1976-1981 I tell you people were actually aggressive to us foreigners.
always wondered how so many Americans could be so brainwashed.
how many even have a clue that Canadians how a much lower infant mortality rate & higher longevity. and no Canadian can be bankrupted bc of a catastrophic illness.
