Concerning the post I made July 31 about the 79 year old Cleveland,Ohio woman who was scheduled to spend 10 days in jail for feeding stray cats: Just found out she will NOT have to go to jail. Over 107,000 people signed a petition to keep her out. Do not know anything else, like possible fines, etc., though.

She has a new hearing - with a new judge - it's in August. Perhaps this time with representation.
Not certain of the date - but I'm sure the results will be public. (See that? Petitions do apply pressure!).
