I'm a native Georgian (whoop dee doo) and living in Kennesaw. I've been here about a year and don't know anyone nearby, much less any non-religious people. I suck at meeting people.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Maybe everyone worth meeting has, like yourself, been intimidated by the dominant religious social order into keeping their heads down and out of sight, keeping a low profile. That does rather suck. 
Have you thought about either sharing a little bit about something you find interesting or complimenting or showing curiosity for something you see someone else saying or doing? Meeting people is partly about mutually finding out a bit about each other.
