I really enjoyed "Saving Sirga: Journey into the Heart of a Lion" on Netflix. I originally put off watching it because I thought it would be a lot of corny anthropomorphism, but it was actually very interesting (and heartwarming).
What is it about? Give us a gist.
It's about a German conservationist in the Kalahari who saves a lion cub and raises her by hand. Their relationship is the extraordinary part - she's not a pet, and he's the only human who works with her.
