Two highly interesting offerings from Netflix:
The Great Hack documents the Cambridge Analytica circle of persuasion, and
The Family documents the rise of a conservative fundamentalist Christian group that has been influencing U.S. (and world) politics since Eisenhower's time.
Both absolutely horrifying.
The Family dates back to FDR first national prEyer breakfast.....while mostly Rethuglicans fascist Democrats are brainwashed THEY CAN DO NO WRONG once elected THEY ARE CHOSEN BY gawd like Hitler gott MIT UNS
Oh wow, I've watched The Family in pure horror, twice! Will make a point to see the great hack!
I've watched a little of The Family. I agree--horrifying. Strange to think that if I had seen this a few years ago, as a conservative christian, I would have thought that it was great.
Watched them both, and yes very goos and scary at the same time. When will we if ever have an Atheist president?
Lincoln was an Atheist and so is www.howiehawkins.us @H'20 @HowieHawkins20 Green Party....Walter Mondale was a closet Atheist and his brother Lester Mondale was the last living signator to all 3 HUMANIST MANIFESTOs
....Governor Culbert Olsen California Atheist in office 1939-1943 and Portland Mayor Bud Clark 8 years in Oregon 1980s
I'll put these on my list. I think the Family may be old news though.
The book has been out for a while, but the documentary is new, as far as I know.
