This has probably been said but Ken Burns' Vietnam series was eye opening and for me deeply moving. Gets both sides of the conflict, perspectives of troops in the field and political situation on the home front. Just amazing. I highly recommend watching

@JulianD Worked on PBRs and a swift boat. I was on a repair barge moored in the Bassac (Mekong) at Chao Duc on the Cambodian border. How bout you? Were you there?
All of Ken Burns' documentaries are great, some move a little slow but you always learn something of our history.
