Minimalism
Serious look at consumerism and it’s problems.
Sounds cool. I've thought a lot about reining back my life as far as possessions. I don't have a ton, but I always think I can strip back. I've never made the full commitment to clean house and do with much less. One day.
With consumerism....I really don't shop a lot. My ex used to get on me about that. "Up your wardrobe!" Haha
@WizardBill I've never gone as far as a dumpster, but I have to say when I throw things out, it DOES feel good. Like with each item, a little bit of weight lifted. Especially when I take things I never ever use and give them to the local thrift shop. Someone else can use this. What do I need it for?
I had dreamed of an uncluttered house set up in my dream of a somewhat minimalist design. When the 2nd of my 2 children moved out 4yrs ago l did it. I was pretty ruthless. I disposed of all that l felt bound me to possessions that were no longer a part of me. It was like shedding a weight, a shackle. I love my revamped house. It now feels like l imagined for years. The place, space, free of unnecessary stuff
