How often do you run into incredibly stupid people at the gym, who just focus on becoming more muscular, rather than complete bodily fitness, when they don't do bodybuilding competitively?
I'm not sure I understand this poll. My workouts are basically a power lifting routine with a body building focus. I do cardio 2 - 3 times a week with the routine. I consider myself to be quite fit, and I don't compete.
Was this relating to douche canoes who only focus on upper body, or are you saying that being very muscular is counter to your definition of being fit?
I'm very happy with my overall appearance and fitness. I'd rather do my routine than cross fit or a P90X style workout, nor do I have any desire to do marathons...
Most people at my gym are nice and everyone has their own goals for what they want to achieve. What gets me are the new people that really overload on weights and try to do too much too quickly. I try not to be too judgmental since everyone's there to better themselves in some way.
Occasionally.
But sometimes I run into incredibly stupid people who just focus on complete bodily fitness... And sometimes I run into people who are focused on just becoming more muscular who are pretty sharp. I've never noticed building muscle was contingent with stupidity.
I’m not knowledgeable enough to vote. I may be one of them.

Posted by SilviaParkI had my first triathlon in Sunday, an indoor USATri60. Lots of room for improvement, but I'm just a beginner swimmer, and haven't taken my bike on the road yet :)
