And look what you missed.
LOL. I'm glad I missied it!
@BestWithoutGods Hahahaha.....me too!
@Lilac-Jade However, it might have got me kicked out of the mission. It would have been nice to have left early.
@BestWithoutGods True. That's one of the many things I never wanted to do. I couldn't wait to get out of moronism, & finally got the nerve to tell mother when I was 17. I was finally excommunicated at 24, after being married & 2 of my 3 kids later.
@Lilac-Jade You did better than I. I was in my early 40's when I finally left Moronism, excommunicated for apostasy. In the church court, they asked me what I thought of the Book of Moron. I asked, "Shouldn't it make some kind of sense?" I think that's the final straw that got me kicked out. Though it cost me most of my family and friends, it was well worth it. Excommunication was the best thing the Moron Crutch (Mormon Church) ever did for me.
@BestWithoutGods I never showed up at that court thing....just as I hadn't been showing up to anything since age 17. They kept phoning me no matter where we had moved to, to tell me of my nearest branch & the relief society meeting, etc. but I could never get through to them I was not the least bit interested & to leave me alone.
Finally just after I'd had my second baby, the bishop & a minion showed up at the front door to confront me about going to church. Again I said I was not interested & shut the door. They pounded on the door, & reached over to pound on the living room window from the porch, yelling the whole time, & my husband came out of the bath tub to tell them to get off the property or he'd call police.
That's when I started getting letters about the stupid court appearance, & then the letter of excommunication. Wudduh bunch!
@Lilac-Jade So much for the compassion those hypocrites teach!
@BestWithoutGods Yeah, so full of it!
@Lilac-Jade They're full of it, alright!
@BestWithoutGods I really found a lot of things I didn't notice at the time, after I had distanced myself from it. Then so much crap was glaringly obvious.
