I used to raise the Long Tails and other small, and large lizards in Florida. When I was little, there was literally a Green Anole on every screen. Now you'd be hard pressed to find one. Even the invasive Brown Anoles are disappearing. Too sad.
God damn pesticides.
@Leafhead I live in Leesburg and I have them all over. I work in the Villages and get calls all the time from homeowners that want construction jobs done and want a guarantee the "lizards" can't get in. I tell them the only way to guarantee that is to move. The Villages have got to be one of the most toxic environments for pesticides and chemicals. Most ever homeowner has a lawn service spreading fertilizers along with close to 40 golf courses within 30 minutes of each other.
