Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Have a relatively safe outpatient surgery on my elbow and wrist Tuesday morning, but am stressing to the 800th degree. Should be recovered in 2 weeks, but some people take up to 8 weeks. If I am cleared to drive, I'll be there

He seems awesome. He teaches at USF and brought in students to show how my hand is messed up and how I'd react if the nerve was damaged this way and how I'd react if the nerve was damaged that way. I am convinced that he knows his shit. One of the most comforting things is he won't just tell me everything will be fine, he gives me statistics and considered optimism, which my rational mind enjoys and cherishes.
However, I will be drugged and unconscious in a room full of people who will be slicing into my arm to play with a nerve and possible move it. All surgery sounds like the plot of a horror movie when it's about to happen to you. The irrational mind is messing with me day in and day out now.
Good to see you again, hope things worked out for the good.
