Very pretty I love the colors. I see a lot of octopus Tattoos lately. I really think they are cool. But don’t understand how they became so popular.

I can't speak for anyone else but mine is a friendship tattoo.
My friend and I were going through some very stressful times and using each other as sounding boards. One morning we were discussing things and she said 'At least you're not an octopus.' She did random internet research to cope with stress and the night before discovered that octopus will eat themselves if stressed.
It became a thing.
