This is my back done by Guy Aitchison of Hyperspace Studios at his old studio in Chicago called Guilty and Innocence. It took a little over 50 hours to complete working every other month for a year in 5 to 7 hour sessions, started in October 1994 finished in October 1995. Since I know him he only charged about a third of his normal rate, it still cost me over $5000.00. I wish all the sites that show big work would also show the price so people understand just what it costs to get large pieces done by good artists. He charged $250.00 an hour back then. You could expect this to cost a normal person today over $20,000.00 since his rate is much higher today. Guy is one of the artists that changed the industry to what it is today. He single handedly raised the artistic bar far above the norms inspiring most of the highly talented artists in the business today. He is more responsible for the current artistic level in the business than anyone else. He is a much a teacher as an artist, he wrote the book on tattooing that most of us consider the tattooing bible called Reinventing the Tattoo. It's impossible to get an appointment with him so don't even dream of it, luckily now there are many that can do the same kind of stuff just as good but he will always be a god in our business
