It has occurred to me that it is a blessing to go to bed hungry. (maybe I should get my thesaurus out and find a more fitting word than "blessing" ) Such a huge portion of the world's population go for days without food; it is something to think about.

Blessing? That implies that there's a superpower, stopping you from eating,

That's never been proven.

That's why you're here; you're agnostic...

It has been a while since I wrote that- and I did not exprss my point well. For all those that go to bed 'every night' empty-headed and stuffed like an over-inflated balloon----it might be a 'blessing' to see themselves, by doing something trivial such as going to bed with no food once in a while. It is more acceptable and also healthier that gluttony. What does it feel like to be starving and have no food?

This is something I have adopted in my life. A common malady is reflux and this is exacerbated by eating late and then going to bed. I have had this issue for years and had been taking a prescription drug (known as a PPI - proton pump inhibitor) which can have serious side effects. Often doctors say one needs several hours between their last meal and going to bed.
