Study shows that trans children sense their gender identities at young ages.
During the study, transgender children chose toys and activities associated with their opposite-gender identities, even when parents had been raising them as their birth-assigned genders.
Their behaviors match almost exactly that of cisgender children of the opposite gender, no matter what the attitude of the parents, researchers found.
Thus skewing the nature-nurture debate in favor of nature.
