After injuring my ankle, I still finished a workout on the same day, followed by 2 days of rest. By the 3rd day, the no excuses mentality kicked in, so I did the work out, then missed the next day. 5 or 6 days later I can walk and do my workout with little pain to moderate pain. Over 30 days of following the no excuses book by Donovan, even skipping workouts a few times , (you're not supposed to miss a work out by the way), I lost a total of 7 pounds. My target was 1500 calories, but I usually went over and tried to stay under 1900. I sometimes ate up to 2100 calories if I was really hungry. Instead of tracking the macros, I ate what my body was asking for. I kind of know when my body wants more protein, or wants some carbs, or just needs to hydrate. Caffeine is something I realized I'm addicted to, so I cut it out yesterday, small steps. Instead of an energy drink, i made a couple lemon ginger smoothies with honey and it hydrated me and put me to sleep. After 30 days is over, do it again! Keep doing the work out until it's a habit you do without thinking about it, like tying your shoes. How many people were able to stay focused for 30 days?

At 68 I’ve been fighting an uphill struggle to maintain an exercise routine. Chaos, breaking up, living in a trailer- not much room for a yoga mat, weight machine ,dvd ...
Twisted an ankle- ok I can do a crunchy...
F’d up back a week ago, time to do cat/cows ! Wah! Do a dam push-up ed!
How much room does a crunchie take?
Embrace your struggle!
And lots of luck & good health to you!
