Y'all my peach trees are covered in, well, peaches! Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the bugs from snacking on them? Blackberry bushes are blooming and my grapes vines are covered! Spring brings beautiful Bearded Iris & wild roses 🌹

The garlic mustard is just coming into flower in the rough hedge bottom adjoining my neighbors field. It is a very common weed in the UK, but I like the very neat geometric arrangement of the leaves (see photo) and the heads of white flowers. It also...

It's been a tough winter but it's that time of year again where Canadian Gardeners start putting little seeds into containers inside in the hope that one day, far far away, it will be warm enough to transplant them into their gardens. Canadians are ...

The Honeysuckle which grows at the end of my drive, here in the photos against my neighbor's cottage across the road is a complete accident, planted by no one that we know of. Yet it scents half the village on a warm night, it is so powerful.

I had a visitor early this morning, a Texas spiny lizard warming up on my steps. I'm pretty sure that this little guy has been munching on my dragon fruit, cactus and insects are fair game on their diet.

My triumphant trumpet vine is quite vibrant this year. This is the first trumpet vine I've had so was unaware of all the lovely permutations the flowers go through. The large pods were a surprise too.
