This morning Tesla stock is up almost 9 points and I wondered why that was. It's possible that the Bernie win in New Hampshire last night inspired a belief that a green new deal is going to happen and that stocks like Tesla will be will benefit.
Polls over the last 5 years and it consistently shown Bernie to win over Trump. Bernie's now the front runner. It seems unlikely that Bernie will not get the nomination. Furthermore it seems likely he will win the election.
It's best if the election isn't close. If it is close the GOP may suppress votes and steal the election. Encourage everyone you know to vote.

Yes , there is a corrrolation between who's in the White House and how well things go in the country and sometimes that means pulling in your belt and working harder . Please keep us posted .

I'm now watching Mercedes Benz he's struggling slashes dividend YouTube. It appears they're in big trouble. Could be another reason Tesla's going up.
@Cast1es Tesla made profit 4 of past 6 quarters, and seems likely to be profitable from now on. However, Musk is racing to expand production, which could affect profits. Short sellers recently lost $2.5B when Tesla stock rocketed to over $800. I think analyzing Tesla requires thinking outside the box and those 47 analysts are stuck in the box.
The future is EVs, and Tesla has a commanding lead over the traditional ICE vehicle manufacturers in battery technology, and they may be able to extend that lead in batteries. Since batteries are a big part of EV cost, and Tesla makes batteries at a lower cost than others, they will thrive.
Not one wagon maker became an automobile manufacturer. ATM it looks as if ICE auto makers will not be able to successfully transition to making EVs. When you include autopilot and robotaxi in the equation, Tesla's lead is IMO overwhelming.
Why ask my opinion? I'm still a novice investor; though, I am an engineer, with some understanding of the incredible engineering genius of Elon Musk. I think he is more capable than Howard Hughes. That's why I think Tesla will succeed.
