With the stock market going down, the fed is printing more dollars, lowered interest rates to near zero. This is to stop Deflationary pressures. I thought it strange that everyone is in a panic buying in a Deflationary environment. Prices are dropping!!! Thats good for us. Its bad for the government. You see, in a Deflationary environment, people hoard cash. They stop spending, businesses can't make money and people get fired as a result, causing people to hoard more cash creating a downward spiral while prices drop businesses lose money. The government then owes more money as the dollar gets stronger instead of weaker. To combat this!!!!!!! The fed lowers interest rates to encourage people to borrow money and spend!!!! They print more dollars to flood the market to alleviate fears and encourage spending. Boring stuff.
