I get peeved when people complain about cultural appropriation. They me strike as being precious about their culture and they obviously feel threatened by other people finding value in their culture.
But let's apply cultural appropriation to its fullest.
The end result is the removal of all Latin names for plant and animals (Julius Ceaser would be delighted, and Carl Linnaeus would be extremely upset) and the banishment of about half the words and phrases in English. Examples include:
I call a pox on such political correctness.
And for anybody wanting a good laugh in this matter, you can try [bbc.com] and [carthrottle.com] Enjoy!
It's a disgrace! Black actors need to stop playing Hamlet .
And white people need to stop playing Jesus Christ!
Too right - touché!
