My dream come true.
Recently, I was sitting in a pub, waiting for a friend to finish her directors appointment so I could drive her home. To pass the time, I was reading a book. A man came up to me and asked what I was reading. He asked because it had been so long since he saw someone in a public space reading an actual book. He said, "Look around." Sure enough, every other person in the place who was not actively engaged in conversation with another person, had their face stuck in their phone, in fact, many who WERE engaged in conversation also had their phones out and were texting while talking.
