My parents bought a set and before we even got them open, a kid in town a year behind me took one in the eye! Timmy's glass eye was a bitter reminder for me that I never got to even play ONE game with them and, YES, I am fecking bitter to this day!
But they will let even kids as young as about 10 play with bows and arrows now because Hunger Games is still a thing.
@BufftonBeotch I am a bowyer....my favorite thing is to build wood bows and matching arrow sets for children. Hehe. Hehehe.
Lord Love a Duck, in the 80's one of my almost retarded nephews hit me on the top of the head with a lawn dart while i was minding my own business at a family reunion. I spent years playing lawn dart fights with my buddies in the 60's and 70's and nobody lost so much as an eye but I think I dropped about 5 IQ points thanks to my nearly brain dead nephew.
Ow! Did it bleed terribly? Stitches?
@BufftonBeotch Very little bleeding but I had a wicked headache for the rest of the day.
And can you even get cap guns anymore?
I swear I can close my eyes and smell it.
And didn't chemistry sets contain actual poisons?
@BufftonBeotch We survived! Lol
