Answer to an interesting question in light of our current circumstances in the US.
I've read that POTUS 45 has a high IQ , and look what a mess he's made of things . We need leaders who are more interested in what's best for our country , and not what's best for the multimillionaires and billinoaires .
@Cast1es -- Let us say that he is probably above average, but I wouldn't try to hold any sort of conversation with him above any level higher than, "Say, Don, how about a hot dog?"
There are articles that the earth is flat.
@ChurchLess Considering how he operates , I suspect he must have paid someone to take the test for him , or more likely , offered to pay someone to take the test for him , then never followed through with the payment .
There's a story I read in highschool but don't remember the name. There's these two boys teasing these monkeys with something. Then the monkeys get the object and do something positive with it. The theme being that greater intelligence has nothing to do with being moral. So I do agree in principle. However, if one could predicate the goals of a regime beforehand then this might be a good idea, given the complexities of social order.
@towkneed -- Agreed. Considerable thought would need to be given to what characteristics would lead to positive outcomes that are constructive to the people. Then the problem would be how to recognize these traits with a high degree of confidence in potential leaders.
