The parents ignored too many signs, they were very negligent.

It's a terrible world we live in when you can be charged with someone else's crimes. Imagine going to jail because your mentally ill relative took your vehicle and ran someone over or killed someone with a kitchen knife or used a tool from your garage to hurt someone. Must we lock up every item that's capable of hurting/killing? Imagine taking responsibility for your own actions.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed even if they are a mental juvenile horror of a human being with the brain of a rabid honey badger, USA USA USA Y'ALL!!!

Not to mention...the kid has known mental problems!

Hopefully it will make more parents take more care in keeping guns locked and away from family members suffering emotional distress. It may also make parents watch for "signs" like these parents were warned about from the school.
