Just finished reading "Where The Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens. It's about a woman who was abandoned by her family in the 1950's and she grows up alone in the swamps of North Carolina. Always being an outsider, when a murder occurs, she becomes the primary suspect. It's very good.
