Greetings!
So, this will sound pretty odd.
I don't fish.
But, I really enjoy making fishing lures.
Would that count for acceptance to this group?

Yes, i'd like to know what kind of lures you make.

MrLink, and CallmeDave!
I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner.
I make spin casting and trolling lures out of hardwood. I turn the bodies on a lathe and sand to final shape.... all are painted by airbrush to customer specs. They range in size from about 1.5 inches (light, freshwater spin casting) to 12+ inches (saltwater trolling). I'll post pictures of the next set I make.

@bigpawbullets I look forward to learning more about what you do. I think that is very interesting.

Absolutely. What sort? Swim baits? Do you market them?

Did you ever get a reply on this?

@MrLink Only yours so far.

Posted by CallMeDaveThis striped bass has sores on it. Is anyone here familiar with fish health? I'd like to think it was caused by a foul-hooked treble lure, but it appears more internal. Smith Mountain Lake, 5-3-20.

Posted by CallMeDaveToday's catch. 27 inch and a 37 inch. The 37 is (barely) a length citation here in VA. Back home before 6:30 am.

Posted by CallMeDave34", 15 lb striped bass this morning. Several good bites but I had trouble keeping them on. Once I landed this I rowed home. I wasn't carrying ice.
