The gravity-driven ‘Thermonuclear’ model is taught in every school on Earth. It has never been proven.
There is another quite different hypothesis, the 'Electric Sun' model, which has been 250 years in the making. It also has never been proven.
Until recently there has been no mechanism by which we could test either hypothesis.

We seldom see anti-science conspiracy folks here. Why are you hanging around? Gravity as the driving force for the sun is well understood and proven. Are you trying to hint that since we can’t build a gravity driven fusion reactor on earth it counts as some sort of objection?
